It's time to celebrate!
What are we celebrating? Well, whatever you want. You decide.
Personally, I'm celebrating a whole week of going to the gym and not slacking off. I made it every day! This after a solid three weeks of being incredibly unmotivated. But, I'm happy to report that I'm back at it -- and it makes me feel good to brag about it. :)
So what do you want to brag about? Share your happy things with us -- whether they're mini milestones (hey, I didn't have to fight my zipper this morning!) or huge accomplishments (I've lost 50 pounds since starting eDiets!).
You tell us what to celebrate! Take the opportunity to brag about yourself. Strut your stuff by writing a comment, and we'll cheer you on and celebrate YOU!

Here's just a few for my bragging right's list. This list is growing every day!
*I've lost 20% of my body fat.
*I have lost over 8" off my hips, 9" off my waist, and a lot more if I'd have measured everything from the start. From what I DO have measured I have lost a total (and MUCH more than) 46.75"!!! I can't even imagine what that number really looks like!
*I've lowered my BMI 8 points! 37 to 29.
*I have 20 more lbs of lean mass than I did 10 years ago (who says you have to lose muscle as you get older!?)
*I have lowered my resting HR from 80 to 65.
*I started running in intervals at 2.8 mph at an avg. HR of 150, now I can run at 4.5 mph with an avg. HR of 150 for up to 5 miles without stopping.
*HECK! I can run! I remember a time I could barely get off the floor from a sitting position!
*I'm starting to see some abs!
*I hate missing my gym workouts, and LOVE the gym environment - I used to be intimidated by it all.
*It used to be a challenge for me to curl 10lb dumbbells, now it's a challenge to curl 35lbs.
*I can wear sleevless shirts AND feel comfortable - my arms look better than EVER!
*I can still beat my 16yr old son arm wrestling!
*My legs don't FLOAT in the pool anymore! THEY SINK!!!
*I feel comfortable in my skin and better than that, I'm beginning to really accept myself for who I am.
*I believe in myself more and more each day, and I'm proud of what I am accomplishing with my life, an unfamiliar feeling.
*to be continued... (for the rest of my life!)
I have to add, I don't know WHERE I'd be right now without the help of eDiet's and my friends I've made here. TRULY inspiring people that have changed my life for the good for EVER and in a way I never could have imagined!

In 6 days I will have been on my weight loss program for one year and as of my last weigh in, I have lost 110 pounds. When asked about my weight loss, I no longer say I am dieting but that I have made a life time change to eat right and exercise on a regular basis. Even with this amount of weight loss, I have a ways to go, but I feel strong because I have learned the art of proper nutrition and exercise through my program.

I've struggled to maintain weightloss and my brag explains why!! I have gained muscle. While at Sesame Place this weekend, I noticed the beginning the development of my tricep and bicep muscles starting to become visible. I also noticed that in my NEW bathing suit (from 18 to a size 12!) I can lift my arms and no longer see a huge bulge under my arm pit!!!!

I am a school teacher who started a walking program (very moderate- about 20 minutes of aerobic walking per day)and started eating mini-meals throughout the day. I have been eating lots of vegetables and salads with no-fat dressing. I have also been enjoying raspberries and blueberries on my oatmeal every morning. I am significantly overweight but I've managed to maintain my weight for 10 years by being careful about what I eat. I do not fit the stereotype of a very overweight person eating pints of ice cream and brownies and cheeseburgers, etc. In fact, I would have ballooned way up if I gave into those temptations. However, I am very sedentary. Since June 19, when school let out, I have been walking and probably eating about 1500 calories a day. I am delighted to say that I have dropped 8 lbs. I know that is not a lot, but considering I haven't been able to drop any weight in 10 years, I am bragging. Now my goal is to maintain that loss. I also hope to lose more, of course, but if I can maintain what I've lost, that will also be an accomplishment.

I have worked out, lowered my chances of heart problems, stroke, high blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes by working out as well as watching what I eat.I am a 24 year old college student and the above listed conditions run in my family so I wanted to prevent them eventhough I eat healthy.I pushed myself beyond my expectations to increase my stamina, endurance and reduce stress in times of chaos during the year.I am very pettite yet take care of what I eat,do and by taking working out classes I have learned to enjoy working out in a fun way.I am very skinny so I do not need to worry what I eat now(high metabolism) yet I still do because of the habit that it became. With both working out, taking care of my body as well as myself I feel like a better person who has more confidence and energy to function.

I went to a department store to buy a pair of shorts. I got into a size 14! I haven't worn a size 14 in over 10 years! I did a happy dance right there in the dressing room. The bonus was they were on sale!!

I graduated from college three months ago and started a career. Since I started, all the work pants that I bought when I began here, are so big they are falling off me!! I've lost 15 pounds and made exercise a part of my daily routine. I eat at least one serving of fruits or vegetables with each meal, and am starting to see some real results (like stretch marks fading, and my face getting slimmer!!) I've also lowered my BMI but have a ways to go....But I'll get there!!

I started Atkins in January. A week later I started walking. I have lost 33 lbs and was wearing a size 14 and now am in a size 6. I love the low carb diet because it is affordable (no special foods to buy)and I enjoy the foods. I walk 4miles 5 days a week with my neighbor who I have recruited to start exercising with me and she has lost 20 lbs since May!!

I decided enough was enough and one month ago, I got serious about losing the post-baby weight. As of yesterday have lost 15 lbs! Yea! I am officially half way to my goal weight! Well my initial goal. I am really proud of this because I have to fix 2 separate meals every time I cook because my 2 teenage boys, 2 year old and husband (mostly husband) wont touch whole wheat or vegetables! Thank God I have a supportive Mother-in-law who helps stand with me!

I am a 49 yrs. old female, that's happy to click on to E-Diet. For many reasons, especially learning more about energy. I started out running 1 mile in 15-20mins. Now, I can run 1 mile in 11 mins. My goal is 10 mins or less. I'm losing inches & down 2 pants sizes with much energy.

I am a 63 yr. old widow, 5 ft. tall. I weighed 143 lbs on Jan. 01, 2008. Yesterday, I weighed 116 lbs-25 pounds gone! My BMI is now in the middle of the normal range for my height.
I have changed my eating style-don't let food hang over the edge of my plate any more-and eat lots of veggies and fresh fruit. I don't buy cookies or chips-they are a special treat if I am out visiting and they are offered.
I joined Aquafit and a dancing class, and I have a dog who loves to run in the forest, with me in tow!
I have lots of energy, which I need for packing up my "too big" clothes for the charity shop, and trying on replacements while I'm there!
The information on ediets, and all the newsletters which I get have made a big difference for me-inspiration and encouragement for the discouraging times.

I have been walking for 50 minutes almost evey morning and doing an exercise DVD every other day after walking. I have been keeping a food journal and measuring portions and keeping an eye on what goes into my body, while allowing a treat day here and there.
Because of this, I have finally broken past my weight loss plateau that has lated for over a year!
I am so darn proud of myself that it makes me want to just keep going to my goal and not do anything to sabatoge my accomplishment.

I lost 45 lbs. in 10 weeks earlier this year and started doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo with my husband and three sons. I was too intimidated before as my legs were too fat to wrap around someone's head! I take falls from over someone's shoulder without passing out from fear, too. I've exercised all of my adult life, but I've never felt this alive!
