Thank you for your article holding on while you are on the treadmill. As a Personal Trainer, I see that all the time. I won't let any of my clients hold on and tell them the same reasons that were listed. It really burns me to see someone walking 4-5 MPH and holding on. You can see the railing bend as they pull themselves up from falling off the back. Not only is it bad on the person, it isn't good for the equipment either.

So, what company is behind this hype? First of all, it is highly unlikely that people who reach for this beverage are planning on having only one - so that is not only dangerous for them but potentially for anybody sharing the same road.

Choosing to eat properly or simply adding some fruit and vegetables into daily intake is much more beneficial.

The only reason companies hype this is to make MONEY and the only reason people fall for it is so they can feel good doing something they inately know is wrong.

Dear Dr Mendelson,

I'm sure you remember being my Professor at Johnson & Wales University. I'd really appreciate it if you could get in touch w/ me. I know you must be very busy but it's VERY IMPORTANT! Thank you for your time.

Debbie

These articles should always include the disclaimer that you CAN drink too much water. It's rare but possible. I learned the hard way. I developed a type of diabetes (my apologies, I've forgotten the scientific term) that is unusual and has nothing to do with insulin. Diabetes means "pees a lot" and is actually a symptom not the disease. One can damage their kidneys and liver by drinking too much water. Mind you I was drinking over 2 gallons a day but I didn't realize it. So beware readers drink enough but not more than the recommended amount.

I donated a kidney 16 monthes ago and since then I have gained over 40 pounds. I have tried a juice detox, follow weight watchers diet plan and have been to see my doctor. Does anyone have a suggestion to jump start my metabolism ?

The picture from e-diet Recipe of the Day does not seem to go with it-Farfalle with Smoked Salmon and Asparagus. Also there must be a mistake - using just 1 ounce of salmon to make 4 servings?

OK I have been excercising for quite a few years.

Let's say I am in my mid 50's. Now that I have lost a bit of weight on my legs. The skin on my thighs looks
just awful. I was better off with larger legs. Help any suggestions other than surgery?
