Diet or exercise; which is more effective in your fight with fat? Really, the most important point is you shouldn't make a choice between the two. However, a new study compares how each compare in regards to shedding pounds.

I believe that diet will only take you so far and that exercise gets you there, and keeps you there. But they are both equally important. For me personally (and not sure why either) if I stop exercising for any period of time, then it's only a matter of time before I start compromising on my healthy eating. (Don't like to refer to it as diet. Diets = Temporary
Ex: Go on a diet so I can get the weight off for an upcoming event.) As long as I'm exercising, I'm 80/20 with my eating. I think the biggest thing for me, is when I'm exercising I don't want to blow the workout by over indulging.

I agree. I often think about how many calories I need to burn and how hard the workout needs to be inorder to use the calories in say a bag of chips or candy bar. This makes me think twice before eating something with empty calories.
